Naming Downtown Copenhagen
The first shops in the Galleri K opened in 2006. Galleri K is a shopping hot spot in central Copenhagen and is located between the main pedestrian street Strøget, Pilestræde, Antonigade and Kr. Bernikowsgade. E-Types created the name Galleri K based on an in-depth analysis of the identity of the area and the nature of the project.
With 10.000 square meters of concept stores - among others Adidas, Nespresso, G Star Raw and Day Birger et Mikkelsen - Galleri K meets the wishes of the choosey consumer to shop in the very centre of the city. In contrast to the tendency towards more shopping centres in the outskirts of the city, Galleri K stresses authentic, singular shops with individual style.
