New fight for a better food culture

Better produce, better eating habits, more appreciation of good food are the motives of a new public initiative, ‘Madkulturen’ (translates into 'the food culture') promoting a better food culture in Denmark.
Madkulturen reaches out to citizens, professionals and the food industry in an effort to make everyone work together under the headline ‘Bedre Mad til Alle’ (Better Food for Everybody).

e-Types has developed the visual identity of Madkulturen, whereas the visual identity roll-out, design manual and a long range of publications, posters and elements have been designed by India (design implementation agency part of e-Types Group).

Architecture creating change

On February 3, 2012, renowned Architecture Forum Aedes Gallery in Berlin launched the 'Give more' exhibition featuring nine selected projects by schmidt hammer lassen architects paraphrasing nine visions on how architecture can "give more" by adding value and positive change for people, places, and communities.

e-Types facilitated the process of developing the overall concept and designed catalogue and exhibit space. The process helped to extract and strengthen the essential approach of schmidt hammer lassen architects: architecture creates change – architecture is not a goal in itself.

European Newspaper Award Winner

Berlingske is awarded 'European Newspaper of the Year' in the category of nationwide newspapers

"Berlingske does not have any hectic tabloid vibrancy, but relatively long articles presented in a quiet four-column layout. In their size, the images are well-balanced, providing, on the whole, a very serious and yet contemporary appearance.", it says in the official statement.

Early 2011, e-Types redesigned the Berlingske logotype, coat of arms and provided a new custom made typeface — imaginatively, called Berlingske.

About Projects

Future = Education

Bornholm is known as a holiday destination for Danes, Germans and Swedes, but for the young people on this Baltic Island it is very much a place to live and get education up until High School level. In order to enhance results, harvest synergies, combine courses in new ways and to enhance cross diciplinary learning the local highschool and two vocational schools on the island has been merged to Campus Bornholm.

e-Types helped Campus Bornholm developing brand strategy, visual identity, tagline, art direction and photo shoot.
The merger is in effect, but to really take off a new building is planned to be build in a year or two. Education is  - of course  - for the future. It has been so on Bornholm since 1512, where historic sources tells of the first learned education.

Great golfing, simply put

Things are moving fast in India, and nowhere faster than in southern IT hub Bengaluru, where the Prestige Golfshire Club is laid out at Nandi Hills, just outside the city perimeter.

e-Types and local partner Creative Network was commisioned by Prestige Construction to develop the brand and visual identity for the establishment. Our task was to develop a brand that would express a resort of refined, world class standards.
Prestige Golfshire Club is not only a championship golf layout — run by American Troon Golf — it is 240 luxurious villas, a Marriott hotel (opening in 2012), a conference centre and a club house, where you can relax, swim, eat and dine in style.

Prestige Golfshire Club welcomes you for the first swing in early 2012.

Serious journalism

e-Types client nominated for prestigious journalist award
The food and agriculture sector is the focus of much attention - they make what we eat, they influence what we drink, and the wellbeing of millions of animals is their responsibility. It's also a great export earner, the farmers and their produce offer solutions to many of the challenges faced by modern society and many people's jobs depend on it. In short, there are a lot of stories to be told.

For the bold, open and sometimes critical features and articles the editorial staff of the monthly magazine, FOOD&CULTURE is nominated for the The Cavling Prize, the most prestigious Danish journalist award. FOOD&CULTURE is published by the business confederation, Agriculture and Food representing the farming and food industries of Denmark including businesses, trade and farmers’ associations. The nomination is based on how the journalists of FOOD&CULTURE treat delicate issues in the fields of agriculture and food with high journalistic credibility and integrity.

In 2011 e-Types revitalized the magazine with a completely new concept and magazine layout. The strategy derives from the brand strategy work, developed in 2010 by e-Types for Agriculture & Food. The magazine is layouted at the e-Types Group company, India.
